I'm back in my up-all-night mode. My lower back is very sore, but that's also due to the breastfeeding contortions I find myself in. Oh, he's waking up. All for now.
Duly noted, and echoed already by Mae Fatima...what a blessing to be in this household. "It's getting better all the ti-I-IME!" (Beatles) Thank you for your welcome insights, D.O.D. I can't even voice how much I miss you, but am looking forward to and planning our next rendezvous(es- how to pluralize?) with relish...how about that nice vinegary-spicey Caribbean Kuchela relish that I put on your breakfast omelette burrito? Do you remember? You & Mao-2 (read "squared) would love the fresh persimmon (not Fuyu, a softer variety) Avo Liduina prepares regularly and shares with me. It goes superbly with yogurt. And yesterday she brought out some tomato tree fruit peeled with just a hint of sugar added for a super-refreshing, slightly tart treat as I sat in their back yard enjoying a welcome break on a sunny day after many rainy ones w/ Paulo sporting his b-day suit and Nick shoveling out more of the retaining wall area. He's doing some serious labor ovah heah! I picked me a weiner. I was enjoying all of the weiner dog ornaments (2) and others which you & Mao-2 so sweetly shared with me as we took down the tree. Mae Fatima was on a roll, cracking the whip and telling me to FOCUS!! So cute. She keeps me on track.
